Hello! My name is Josh Geldreich and I am a freelance live event/touring contractor.
I am currently touring full time residing in Nashville TN. My goal for my career is to tour with the next Taylor Swift as a Tour Manager. I love to learn and expand my knowledge, and would love to work with you!
MY SKILLS
TOUR/FESTIVAL MANAGEMENT
In the summer of 2023, I started my career as a Tour Manager with We Are Messengers. For the summer tour, I worked as the tour manager and monitor engineer. For the 2023 Where The Joy Is Fall Tour, I switched to being solely a Tour Manager. This tour included Ben Fuller, Cochren & Co., and We Are Messengers. There were 2 tour buses, 1 semi-truck, and 27 people. I learned a lot and look forward to advancing my career as a tour manager. I worked with Creation Festival/Events as the Assistant Festival Manager. My duties consisted of working with pre-festival contracts, planning site layout and vendor management, marketing and sponsorship coordination, On-site operations and crisis management, and much more!
AUDIO
I have been mixing audio for the past eight years. In May of 2021 I graduated from the University of Valley Forge (UVF) with a Bachelors of Science in Digital Media Communications with a focus in Recording Arts. At my time at UVF I spent time as an Audio Technician and for my last semester, I was the Head Technician. I have mixed indoor and outdoor events for events with over of 700 people in attendance. I have mixed on multiple consoles and toured with the travelling team UVF Worship. I have mixed in all mix positions, Front of House (FOH), Broadcast, Monitors, and in the Studio. I have recorded and mixed released music from UVF Worship. I have also worked as with the White House Communications Agenct and the Executive Office of the President as a freelance contractor. With this I have I have mixed for the President of the United States, First Lady, and Vice President.
VIDEO/LED
Throughout my time at UVF I have been able to gain a lot of knowledge about live Video Production. I have worked in all positions in our broadcast studio including Producing, directing, assistant directing (AD), graphics, webcast technician, and camera operator (sticks, jib, and roamer). I have done set up, tear down and camera operation for the 2020 "Biden For President" campaign as well as working with the presidential office as a video lead as a freelance office on site visits. Currently I am a roamer with For King & Country as well as the lead LED Technichian.
GRAPHIC DESIGN/PHOTOGRAPHY
I am able to create moderate level graphics using Adobe illustrator or Adobe InDesign. If you do need a graphic designer though, I can help you find one affordable and talented. I have slight experience with studio photography although Ii have done quite a bit of live concert photography. I have photographed artists such as For King & Country, Casting Crowns, Skillet, Ledger, Korn, Zach Williams, and more.
Stage Manager/Patch technichian
My expereince as a stage manager and patch tech have included political, live music, and corproate events. Most recently I was the stage manager for teh 2022 Regional Planning Meetings for Chic Fil A.
LIGHTING
A part of my time as a Tech at UVF we handled primarily audio, but also video and lighting. I have worked on an ION ETC and a MA Grand Dot 2. I have done lighting for multiple concerts with around 500 in attendance as well as Chapel (church-esk) services. In recent I have been working with Mt. Zion Baptist Church in TN as a Lighting operator on MA3 (on PC with a command wing). I have also jumped in as a lighting tech when needed on the road with For King & Country.
